Bruce A. Henderson, 67 of Waynesboro, VA. passed away at his home on March 26, 2026.

He was born on March 24, 1959 to the late John and the late Lottie Kirby Henderson.

Bruce was a 1997 graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Business Administration and an avid fan of the Dukes. He shared a love of all sports, but especially enjoyed discussing football with his son Brooks and Marvel movies with Patrick. Along with his wife, he was a host parent for the Waynesboro Generals baseball team and a proud fan. As Capital Administrator at Northrop Grumman and an employee of twenty-seven years, he played a vital role in bringing the company to Waynesboro. Bruce was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Waynesboro and used his beautiful tenor voice in the choir. Those who knew Bruce know he was kind, generous and above all else: a loving father and husband.

He is survived by his wife, Marlaine Henderson, of 33 years; sons, Brooks Henderson (Reilly) and Patrick Henderson (Ashby); sister-in-law, Lori Mitchell; nieces and nephews, Casey Ford (Linus), Allison Chretien (Steven), and Tori Critzer; granddaughter, Raelynn Shiflett; and special aunt, Charlyne Critzer.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church, Waynesboro, VA, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with Justin Moser and Kristen Koger officiating.
